Tips on Webhosting, Blogging, Web Design, Webmastering, SEO, CSS, and whatever the damn hell I know.
This is for blogging newbies — I remember taking a while to find it on Blogger.
Sometimes, I like to backdate / change the date of blog posts. For instance, if I publish two blog posts in a day on one blog, I usually prefer separating the two posts.
This is fairly easy to do in Blogspot. It’s a bit “hidden” and takes you one click to get there.
Blogger Backdate Post

Wordpress
In Wordpress, there is the “Post Timestamp” setting.

In Wordpress, you can’t change the timestamp to a future date.
Sticky Posts
For a sticky post in Blogger, go to your Template layout.
1. Click “Add a Page Element”
2. Select “Text”
3. Enter the details. You can edit the HTML of this textbox, if you need to.
4. Save changes
5. Drag text page element around the template to the best spot
6. Preview and Save
If you really want a sticky post in WordPress (a post that stays on top — an example is if you have an important announcement), you can download a plugin called WP-Sticky.
Remember to check the versions when downloading WP plugins.
