Tips on Webhosting, Blogging, Web Design, Webmastering, SEO, CSS, and whatever the damn hell I know.
There’s been some buzz recently on WordPress 2.5 — there’s a new admin interface and everything. It’s a pretty big update. Still, I probably won’t be upgrading.
I’m not saying that EVERYthing about this/a new upgrade is bad — I just care for functionality. The version I’m using is working just fine right now. I’m not really up for an overhaul, along with upgrades for all the plug-ins I’m utilizing.
The new admin interface *is* more user-friendly — in the sense it looks and works more like the Blogger interface. I think both platforms (WP vs. Blogger) have their good and bad points…and well, I’m just going to say I’m glad to have a back-up copy of an older version of WP, along with compatible plug-ins. Lol.
// Update May 08: Well, there’s already a WP 2.5.1 — and after perusing the forums, I’m quite glad I decided not to upgrade.
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it…”
